FanDuel Casino Michigan’s $72.7 million in August online-casino revenue gave it all 10 of the highest monthly revenue totals ever recorded by an individual Michigan operator. The result removed BetMGM from the historical top-10 list.
FanDuel overtook BetMGM as Michigan’s iGaming leader in 2025 and has retained that position. Complete iGaming’s August market breakdown also placed FanDuel first, ahead of BetMGM on $64.1 million.
DraftKings crossed $2 billion in Michigan lifetime online-casino revenue during August, reaching $2.04 billion. Saturday Tradition put DraftKings’ August revenue at $44.3 million and described the operator as a clear third-place player ahead of BetRivers. Complete iGaming, however, reported a $53.6 million August total for DraftKings.
The Michigan Gaming Control Board confirmed that the state’s 15 iGaming operators collectively generated $303 million in August gross receipts. All 15 authorised commercial and tribal operators offered iGaming, while 13 also offered online sports betting.
As covered last week, August was Michigan’s sixth consecutive month with online-casino revenue of at least $300 million. It was the market’s fifth-largest month on record and its seventh month above that threshold since December, after Michigan had never previously reached $300 million in a month.
The $303 million total was 15.1% higher than August 2025, though it was the weakest year-on-year growth rate of 2026; every month from January through July had grown by at least 20%. Over two years, monthly online-casino revenue has risen 54%, from $196.7 million in August 2024.
Michigan’s online-casino market has produced $12.56 billion in lifetime revenue across its 15 operators. The Gaming Control Board reported $337.6 million in combined August gross receipts from iGaming and online sports betting, down 2.5% from July, as sports-betting gross receipts totalled $34.6 million.
Adjusted iGaming receipts reached $290.8 million, up 17.6% from a year earlier. Operators submitted $62.8 million in taxes and payments to the state during the month, while Detroit casinos paid nearly $13.9 million in wagering taxes and municipal service fees to the city and tribal operators made $8.5 million in payments to governing bodies.
