Michigan’s 15 online casinos generated $302.8 million in gross receipts in July, keeping the market above $300 million for a fifth straight month. The total was up 20.9% from July 2025 and 0.5% from June.
The latest result pushed lifetime online casino revenue to about $12.26 billion since Michigan launched regulated iGaming in January 2021. Revenue has climbed every year since then, reaching $3.09 billion in 2025 after $2.44 billion in 2024.
Through the first seven months of 2026, operators produced $2.11 billion, up 22.3% from the same stretch a year earlier. The current run above $300 million began in March, when the market set a record of $322.1 million; January and February had come in below the mark at $298.3 million and $273.1 million.
The Michigan Gaming Control Board’s July report also showed the broader online gambling market collected $346.13 million in combined iGaming and online sports betting gross receipts, up 1.4% from June. Within that, iGaming accounted for $302.77 million and online sports betting for $43.36 million.
Adjusted gross receipts from online casino play came to $290.7 million, while state tax revenue from online casino activity totaled $61.2 million. Detroit’s three commercial casinos paid $13.5 million in wagering taxes and municipal service fees, and tribal operators reported $8.4 million in payments to governing bodies.
According to PlayMichigan, FanDuel remained Michigan’s leading online casino brand in July with $74.6 million in revenue. BetMGM followed with $63.1 million, and DraftKings was third at $43.1 million.
FanDuel’s lead over BetMGM widened to $11.4 million in July, after narrowing to $5.8 million in June. Through July, FanDuel had generated $528 million, compared with $464.5 million for BetMGM, giving it a year-to-date edge of $63.5 million.
The next tier trailed well behind. BetRivers posted $22.4 million, narrowly ahead of Hard Rock at $21.7 million, while Fanatics reached $19 million and Caesars Palace $16.1 million. Bet365 finished July with $8.8 million, Golden Nugget with $8.5 million and Hollywood Casino with $8.2 million.
