A Labor Day weekend casino promotion is offering select players in Michigan and New Jersey a share of two prize pools, with $350,000 available in Michigan and $250,000 in New Jersey. Each state also has a separate pool of 5 million Online Unity Points.
As reported in July, Hard Rock Bet had already run a pooled casino bonus offer in Michigan. According to Hard Rock Bet, this weekend’s version keeps the tiered format, with six wagering tiers in each state, one payout per player and only the highest tier reached counting toward the reward. The threshold ladder is not the same in Michigan and New Jersey, and each tier’s fixed pool is divided evenly among the players who qualify for it.
The route in is narrow. Players must be 21 or older, physically in the state, log in during the promotional window and tap the banner to opt in before they wager. Only cash wagers count, at least $100 in cash wagers is needed to land a reward, and wagers funded by Casino Bonus, Bonus Spins or Bonus Cash do not count. The promotion cannot be combined with any other offer.
The qualifying games differ by state. In New Jersey, eligible cash wagers are on slots from Big Time Gaming, Red Tiger, NetEnt or Nolimit City, including Divine Fortune Gold, Starburst, Bonanza, Biggest Vault and Starstruck. In Michigan, only cash wagers on Light & Wonder slots count, including Huff N’ Lots of Puff, Huff N’ Puff Money Mansion, Dancing Drums Explosion, Quick Hit Blitz Blue and Ultimate Fire Link Olvera Street. Reaching Tier 6 triggers a share of the 5 million Online Unity Points pool in the state.
Winning shares are paid as Casino Bonus within 72 hours after Sept. 7. The bonus comes with a 1x wagering requirement and seven days from activation to clear it, after which the bonus and any related winnings expire. New Jersey winners can wager the Casino Bonus only on Divine Fortune Gold, while Michigan winners are limited to Dancing Drums Tower.
