Michigan’s commercial and tribal operators reported $346.13 million in combined internet gaming and online sports betting gross receipts in July, a 1.4% rise from June. Combined adjusted gross receipts came to $321.42 million, including $290.65 million from iGaming and $30.77 million from online sports betting, according to the Michigan Gaming Control Board.

The sports-betting side told a more mixed story. Online sportsbook handle totalled $355.2 million, down 3% from June and the lowest monthly figure of the year, but the sector’s AGR ranked third among 2026 monthly totals. That followed June, when sportsbook receipts weakened again even as iGaming held up, as covered in our July report.

A market breakdown published by Covers said July’s sportsbook hold reached 8.7%, the highest of the year. The outlet said that helped lift online sports betting AGR to $30.8 million, which ranked third among 2026 monthly totals and was up 28.8% from July 2025’s $23.9 million. By contrast, handle remained about $72.5 million above the same month last year, even after the decline from June.

The operator table showed FanDuel leading the state with $107 million in handle and $11.8 million in AGR. DraftKings followed with $99 million in handle and $8.1 million in AGR, while BetMGM posted $41.1 million in handle and $3.4 million in AGR.

Fanatics tied BetMGM for third in revenue with $3.4 million in AGR from $35.3 million in handle. Caesars reported $17.1 million in handle and $754,521 in AGR, and theScore Bet closed the group with $11.2 million in handle and $571,500 in AGR.

July also brought a fresh round of payments to governments. Operators submitted $63.3 million in taxes and payments to the state, three Detroit casinos reported $14.09 million in wagering taxes and municipal services fees to the city, and tribal operators reported $8.4 million in payments to governing bodies. Michigan launched internet sports betting and internet gaming in January 2021, and as of July 2026 commercial and tribal operators had been authorized to offer one or both products, with 13 offering online sports betting and all 15 offering iGaming.
