PokerStars on FanDuel will launch its Dynasty Series on Sept. 12, putting 100 online poker events and $3.5 million in guarantees in front of players in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
PokerNews says the series runs through Sept. 28 and spans a wide range of buy-ins. A separate preview from Pokerfuse said the U.S. events start as low as $10 and rise to $1,500, with a leaderboard running throughout the series for players who post consistent results.
The opening day slate has six tournaments. It begins with a $50 No-Limit Hold’em Nightly Dynasty, which carries a $25,000 guarantee, and the day’s biggest event is the $1,000 Storm Kickoff, with $100,000 guaranteed. The next day brings a $100 Dynasty NLH with a $150,000 guaranteed prize pool, and Sept. 16 features a $250 Wednesday Wrap Pot-Limit Omaha event with a $25,000 guarantee.
The main draw comes on Sept. 27, when the schedule includes a $300 Main Event with a $350,000 guarantee and a $1,500 High Roller Main Event with a $200,000 guarantee. Pokerfuse described the $300 Main Event as a two-day affair running Sept. 27 and 28.
As covered in April, the Michigan Gaming Control Board approved FanDuel to offer multi-state internet poker across Michigan, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with the PokerStars brand used in Michigan and MotorCity Casino as the state partner.
