DraftKings has turned on a shared online poker network across Michigan, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Michigan Gaming Control Board said on 13 July that the platform went live on 8 July and that DraftKings had met the state’s requirements after a regulatory review.

In Michigan, the product runs through the Bay Mills Indian Community, which serves as the operator’s local partner. Henry Williams, the board’s executive director, said the approval reflected the partnership with Bay Mills and the thoroughness of the regulatory process.

The launch sits inside the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement, the compact that lets poker players compete across state lines. Michigan joined in 2022, and before that its online players could only compete with other Michigan residents.

Pennsylvania became the sixth MSIGA member for poker in April 2025 after Governor Josh Shapiro signed the agreement, and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said the change was expected to give about 150,000 players more choice and widen the pool by more than 50%. The compact also covers over 38 million Americans and includes Delaware, Nevada and West Virginia.
