BetMGM Poker’s 2026 Online Summer Classic begins Friday, bringing a five-day, 22-event online series to players in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The prize pool is set at $232,000, with buy-ins from $10 to $500.
BetMGM says only players physically inside those three states can enter. In Michigan, the operator is licensed by the Michigan Gaming Control Board to offer real-money poker to adults 21 and older, according to PlayMichigan.
Qualifiers began July 5, and satellites were already running on the BetMGM platform. Daily $10, $25 and $50 satellites are offering routes into the series’ higher-stakes events through July 14.
The satellite path is aimed at the $250 and $500 buy-ins. BetMGM says $10 qualifiers can win seats to Event 9, $25 qualifiers can reach Event 19, and $50 qualifiers can get into both of the top-end events.
Individual event guarantees run from $2,000 to $75,000, giving the schedule a wide spread between the lower-entry and marquee tournaments. BetMGM also says the tournaments begin each night between 5 pm and 9:30 pm.
A leaderboard will run for the duration of the series. BetMGM says the top five finishers are in line for up to $1,000 in complimentary sports bets, while pokerfuse described the same prizes as free bets.
Spin the Wheel also runs alongside the series from July 10 to 14. Players must opt in and play at least one Summer Classic event in a day to qualify, and each spin can be worth up to $500 in casino bonus money.
BetMGM says the leaderboard and wheel are part of its More Ways to Play package. The series also has two $25 satellites planned for the early part of July 14, feeding that night’s $500 Grand Slam.
