BetRivers Poker had its strongest month yet in July, with Poker Industry PRO data showing estimated revenue above $900,000 and a record 10.0% share of the regulated U.S. online poker market. That was up from its previous peak of 9.7% and from 7.1% a year earlier, the estimates showed.
The operator had already built a four-state shared-liquidity network by launching first in Pennsylvania in October 2024 and then going live in Michigan, West Virginia and Delaware on 10 June 2025. In the states where it operates, BetRivers held about 14% share in Pennsylvania in July and about 15% in Michigan.
The network matters because it pools players into the same games across Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia and Delaware. The article said that arrangement can support bigger cash tables and larger tournament fields than any single state could sustain on its own.
Poker Industry PRO’s PRO Score, a blended measure of cash-game traffic and tournament entries tracked through SharkScope Analytics, was 159 in July, up from 120 a year earlier. That was roughly 33% growth and broadly in line with the rise in estimated revenue.
The July figures also came with a notable geographic asymmetry. BetRivers is the only regulated online poker provider in both Delaware and West Virginia, which gives it monopoly positioning in two of the four markets where it operates.
State data provide the wider backdrop. Pennsylvania’s Gaming Control Board reported statewide iGaming poker revenue of $2.34 million in July, down 7.14% from a year earlier. In Michigan, the Gaming Control Board said combined iGaming and online sports betting gross receipts reached $346.13 million in July, including $302.77 million from iGaming and $43.36 million from online sports betting.
The record month arrived before any New Jersey launch. Pokerfuse described New Jersey as one of the biggest available U.S. markets and said approval was still pending, with server-location rules that require gaming servers to be based in Atlantic City among the hurdles.
If that launch goes ahead, BetRivers would become the first five-state shared-liquidity network in U.S. online poker.
