Hard Rock Bet is offering new customers in Michigan and nine other authorized states $100 in bonus bets when they deposit at least $5 and place an initial real-money wager of $5 or more on Thursday night’s Detroit Lions-Buffalo Bills game.
The qualifying bet can be placed at any odds, and the bonus bets are due regardless of whether that first wager wins or loses. No promotional code is required. CrossingBroad and MileHighSports reported that the credits are expected within 72 hours after the qualifying wager settles.
The offer is limited to people aged 21 or older who are physically located in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee or Virginia. It is a sportsbook welcome offer, rather than the Michigan casino promotions Hard Rock Bet has run in the state previously.
The Lions and Bills, each 1-0 entering Week 2, are scheduled to kick off at 8:15 p.m. EDT on Sept. 17. CrossingBroad put the game total at 53.5 points. Buffalo was averaging 36 points and 409 yards per game, while Detroit was averaging 31 points and 369 yards.
The early-season figures also showed a contrast in red-zone conversion: Detroit had converted 80% of its opportunities inside the 20-yard line, compared with Buffalo’s 33.3%. Both teams carried a plus-two turnover differential into the game, and MileHighSports listed the Lions’ third-down success rate at 38.5%.
Hard Rock Bet has been authorized to offer internet gaming and sports betting in Michigan since Dec. 2, 2025. The Michigan Gaming Control Board approved it as the platform provider for the Hannahville Indian Community’s Island Resort & Casino in Harris, replacing 888 VHL after that operator exited the state market. The platform is operated by Seminole Hard Rock Digital.
