BetMGM has launched The Traitors Faithful Riches, the first online casino game under an exclusive agreement for the television franchise’s intellectual property. The slot is available through BetMGM Casino in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, while Borgata Online carries it in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The partnership with All3Media International, part of Banijay Entertainment, was announced on Sept. 17. It gives BetMGM rights to create slots, table games and non-traditional casino games based on The Traitors. The company said the Faithful Riches release was timed with the Sept. 17 television premiere of The Traitors: New Blood.
Games Global developed the title, which uses a five-by-four reel layout and offers 1,024 ways to win. Its features include The Traitors Bonus, bonus spins and The Traitor Feature, drawing on the show’s secret alliances, hidden rewards and jackpots.
The release begins a planned series of Traitors-branded titles across multiple gameplay formats rather than a one-off slot. BetMGM gaming senior vice-president Oliver Bartlett said television and film intellectual property was a key part of the operator’s content strategy and that the All3Media agreement offered the chance to create a lasting iGaming franchise.
The underlying show was created and developed by IDTV with RTL Creative Unit, and first aired on RTL 4 in the Netherlands in 2021. In its format, contestants undertake challenges to win a cash prize while secretly selected Traitors seek to eliminate the other players, known as the Faithful.
BetMGM said its broader North American online-casino catalogue contains more than 7,000 titles, alongside a state-by-state exclusive progressive-jackpot network of more than 25 games. Financial terms for the All3Media agreement were not disclosed, and BetMGM has not specified when further Traitors games will arrive or whether the franchise will enter regulated markets beyond the states named in the launch.
