Yggdrasil has entered the U.S. commercial gaming market for the first time through an exclusive deal with Caesars Entertainment. The agreement will distribute Yggdrasil’s online casino content on Caesars’ platforms in Michigan and New Jersey.
According to FishDuck, the partnership was announced Tuesday. The report described Yggdrasil as a Malta-based online gaming content publisher and said the deal gives it a foothold in two established regulated iGaming markets.
Michigan and New Jersey have run legal online casino platforms for several years, making them an early target for an international supplier seeking a compliant U.S. presence. Caesars will add Yggdrasil as another content provider in the two states where the agreement currently applies.
Entering the U.S. commercial market still requires licensing in each individual state. FishDuck said a direct partnership with an operator the size of Caesars should give Yggdrasil a faster route to distribution than building relationships one by one with smaller platforms.
The report framed the move as part of continued consolidation and expansion in the U.S. iGaming supply chain. Any wider rollout beyond Michigan and New Jersey will depend on licensing approvals and market performance.
