Real will add FanDuel Sportsbook odds and betting markets to its live sports app for users in Michigan, placing wagering information alongside scores, play-by-play updates, statistics and fan discussion.
The integration will show FanDuel odds, markets and graphics in live game feeds, individual play views, player-performance screens and team box scores. Eligible users who select a market will be taken to the relevant FanDuel product, including FanDuel Sportsbook Michigan.
Real named FanDuel its first official and exclusive sportsbook and prediction-market partner on Sept. 10. The companies said the first phase begins during the 2026 NFL season, with contextual markets intended to appear as important moments develop in games.
The features will be optional. Users who do not want odds or markets in their live-game coverage can turn them off in Real’s settings, while the companies said entertainment would remain the app’s primary focus.
FanDuel’s standard odds presentation will be incorporated into Real’s existing design. Real co-founder Louis Antonelli said members already use the app to track and discuss bets in real time and had requested live odds; he described the partnership as adding real-time sports data for members interested in betting.
The agreement covers both FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel Predicts, its separate prediction-market platform. But Michigan users will not be able to access FanDuel sports contracts through FanDuel Predicts because the company has said those contracts are limited to states without legal online sports betting. FanDuel Predicts can offer non-sports contracts linked to financial benchmarks, commodities, cryptocurrencies and economic indicators, although the announcement did not say which, if any, will be displayed in Michigan.
FanDuel said the app serves 1.1 million daily active users and 1.5 million monthly active users across 18 leagues. More than 70% of monthly users return on major game days, while concurrent use has exceeded 250,000 during close games. The company also said users spent 4.8 billion minutes on Real over the past 12 months, and nearly 30% of monthly users actively comment.
The companies have not identified which markets will be available for each sport, how often the information will update, or a timetable for expansion beyond the initial NFL rollout.
