BetMGM MI will hold an online poker series from mid- to late-September and is also offering nine new online casino titles. The operator is also offering several sportsbook promotions during the month as MLB approaches the post-season in October.
Online Poker Series
From September 19 to 26, BetMGM Poker MI will run a 10-event online poker series, with buy-ins ranging from $18 to $1,000.
The series opens with a pair of events on September 19—an 8-max No Limit Hold’em (NLH) event with a $200 buy-in and $40k guaranteed, and an 8-max “mini” NLH event with the $18 buy-in and $10,000 up for grabs.
The action continues the next day with an 8-max progressive knockout (PKO) event. Fees for the event will total $215, which includes a $100 buy-in, $15 fee and a $100 bounty. The PKO match has $20,000 guaranteed.
NLH events with $200 buy-ins and $20,000 guaranteed will be held on September 21 and 22, but the series then shifts to an 8-max pot-limit Omaha (PLO) match with a $100 buy-in and $10,000 in guaranteed prize money on September 23. A 6-max “turbo” NLH event follows on September 24, with a $100 buy-in and $10,000 in potential winnings at stake.
The series will hold a second 8-max PKO event on September 25, with bounties of $150 this time around. Combined with a $150 buy-in and a $20 fee, the total entry cost for the second PKO is $320 per player. The event will have $20,000 of prize money guaranteed.
BetMGM will close the series with a pair of events on September 26, including the main event—an 8-max NLH event with a $1,000 buy-in and $50,000 in prize money guaranteed and up for grabs.

BetMGM Sportsbook MI is offering a Risk-Free First Bet of up to $1,000 for new customers. The promotion is available by:
- signing up for the promotion and depositing money into a new account;
- downloading the BetMGM Sportsbook app; and
- placing a first wager risk-free, then receiving up to $1,000 back in free bets the original wager loses.
If a player makes a losing wager, their free bets will be available once the wager is settled. The promotion runs through year’s end.
The rules of the promotion stipulate that if a qualifying bet loses and it is greater than $50, the player will receive free bets back valued at 20% of the total number of free bet earnings they are eligible for. If a player’s qualifying bet loses and it is less than $50, they will receive free bets back in a single denomination equaling the total number of free bet earnings they are eligible to receive.
BetMGM is also offering a Bet $20 Win $100 promotion, where players can bet $20 and win $100 in free bets, regardless of the result of their wager.
The operator is also continuing to offer its MLB Hit the Cycle Challenge, where players can receive a reward for completing various challenges named after the four types of hits in baseball:
- Base Hit: Players will receive a parlay boost token when they place a $10 money line wager on any MLB game at -300 odds or greater;
- Stand-Up Double: A risk-free token will be offered to players who place a parlay wager of $10 or more on at least three legs of any MLB game with -300 odds or greater;
- Triple: Players will receive a $5 free bet when they place at least $10 on a parlay wager of three legs or more on any MLB game with -300 odds or greater; and
- Grand Slam: A $10 free bet is awarded to players who place an MLB futures bet.
