WynnBET and Cumulus Media have signed a media partnership which will expose the popular sports betting brand to more than 250 million radio listeners monthly across hundreds of radio stations.

The multi-year deal allows WynnBET, a mobile sports and casino betting app created by Wynn Interactive, the online gaming division of Wynn Resorts, the ability to expand its reach. Along with WynnBET, Wynn Interactive owns several other online gaming brands such as WynnSlots and BetBull, all of which have been launching in various states over the past year.

Cumulus is one of the leading media and marketing companies in the US. The agreement will make WynnBET one of Cumulus’ largest advertising and marketing partners.

The package of advertising services that WynnBET will receive is quite extensive and is likely to boost the brand’s popularity. Cumulus owns a powerful network of media outlets, and it will be granting WynnBET national exposure via Westwood One’s play-by-play programming. Cumulus’ portfolio also includes endorsements from sports host Jim Rome, exposure to local connections through advertising on its radio stations and multiple studio sponsorships.

The deal also includes brand endorsements from local personalities and digital exposure through social media, live streaming, podcasts, smart speakers and on-site events. Cumulus and WynnBET said they plan to create content that entertains radio listeners and deepens their engagement with the WynnBET brand.

Cumulus also operates a wide network of local radio stations, and WynnBET will be able to utilize Cumulus’ advanced targeted marketing technology, allowing them to deliver specific messages to demographics and groups on every radio station in the network.

“This partnership with Cumulus provides WynnBET the ability to deliver specific, customized messaging to targeted markets throughout Cumulus’ network of hundreds of stations,” said Wynn Interactive CEO Craig Billings. “In addition, WynnBET will have a significant advertising presence on Westwood One’s nationally syndicated programming, including football pre-game and play-by-play, and we will work with Cumulus to create some exciting, branded content over the life of the partnership.”

Cumulus CEO Mary Berner echoed that sentiment. “With Wynn’s focus on exceptional quality and high-touch customer experiences, we believe WynnBET will be a leader among the sports betting apps, and we are excited to deploy our unique assets to grow its business,” she said. “The sports betting market is now the fastest growing advertising category, and this innovative partnership solidifies Cumulus’s position in this exciting arena.”

WynnBET on Rise in Michigan

Wynn’s online gambling brands have been on the rise in recent months, with their online casino jumping to sixth place in Michigan in June, despite a slight decline in overall revenue. Following a $4.3 million revenue in May, Wynn’s online casino only grossed $3.9 in revenues in June. Its market share was just under 4.5% in June.

WynnBET has also aggressively courted professional sports teams in Michigan. The operator entered into a multi-year sports betting partnership with the NBA’s Detroit Pistons in early March, and a sportsbook and gaming partnership with the NFL’s Detroit Lions in mid-July.
