Although the Detroit Tigers missed the postseason this year, and the Detroit Lions appear on track to do the same, BetMGM Poker MI has something exciting for Michiganders to look forward to in the second half of October: the return of its Online Series powered by the partypoker US Network.
The eight-day, 10-event tournament series runs from Sunday, October 24 to the following Sunday, October 31 and includes buy-ins ranging from $18 to $1,000 for the main event.
The action begins with a pair of events at 5 pm ET on October 24. First up is an 8-max No Limit Hold’em (NLH) event with a $200 buy-in and $40,000 guaranteed. BetMGM MI will hold the second event of the series at the same time—an 8-max “mini” NLH event with an $18 buy-in and $10,000 guaranteed.
The next day, an 8-max progressive knockout (PKO) event will be held. The total cost for entry is $215, which includes a $100 buy-in, a $15 fee and a $100 bounty. The operator has $20,000 guaranteed for this PKO event, the first of two in this series.
Two NLH events follow on October 26 and October 27. The first is a 6-max NLH event with $10,000 guaranteed and a $100 buy-in, while the second is an 8-max NLH event with $20,000 up for grabs and a $200 buy-in.
On October 28, there will be an 8-max pot-limit Omaha (PLO) with a $100 buy-in and $10,000 guaranteed. A 6-max “turbo” NLH event will be held the next day, with a buy-in of $100 and $10,000 in prize money guaranteed.
The second PKO event of the series is next, on October 30. Just like the earlier PKO, this event will also be 8-max with $20,000 guaranteed but the total cost for entry is a little higher: $320, which includes a $150 buy-in, $20 in fees and a $150 bounty.
The series concludes with a pair of events on October 31, both of which will be held at 5 pm ET. The first is an 8-max Sunday Special NLH with a $200 buy-in and $40,000 guaranteed. The final event is an 8-max NLH with $50,000 guaranteed and a $1,000 buy-in.

Players Choice Deposit Bonus
BetMGM Poker MI is also offering its Players Choice Deposit Bonus promotion from October 11 to October 31. All players registered with the operator are eligible.
Players will first choose their deposit amount. If players use the bonus code MIDEP50GET100 when depositing $50, they will receive a $100 release-restricted bonus. Meanwhile, players who use the bonus code MIDEP100GET200 and deposit $100 will get a $200 release-restricted bonus. And players who deposit $250 and use the bonus code MIDEP250GET500 will receive a $500 release-restricted bonus.
According to the terms of the promotion, the release-restricted bonus will be release as cash in increments of the deposit amount. The rules stipulate that:
- Bonus Cash release: 20% increments of deposit amount (five slabs);
- Bonus will be earned out at a rate of ten (10) times the increment amount in iRewards Points (iRPs) to release each slab; (e.g., A qualifying deposit triggers $100 in Bonus Cash. Bonus Cash is released in increments of $20. In order to release $20 cash, a player would need to earn 200 iRPs; and
- Released cash is credited to a player’s account and is available for withdrawal.
